According to Ord. 132/2020 regarding the amendment and completion of the Technical Norm Technical conditions for connection to the public interest electric networks for prosumers with active power injection into the network, approved by ANRE Order no. 228/2018 Date: 24.06.2020 MO 568/30.06.2020 in the situation where the electricity production facility in the prosumer use facility has an installed power greater than 30 kVA or the place of consumption and production is connected to the electrical network of medium voltage, the alternating current circuits related to the electricity production installation are equipped with the relays/protection functions provided in para. (1) lit. b), external to the electricity production installation and which triggers the interface switch. The anti-islanding relay must trip the interface switch in case of:
(i) the emergence of an insular functioning regime;
(ii) exceeding the maximum and minimum voltage and frequency values ​​agreed with the network operator;
(iii) exceeding a current threshold (overload/short circuit).
