Green Stamp / WEEE
The Green Stamp (TV) represents the consumer contribution intended to cover the costs of collection, reuse, recycling, valorization and non-polluting disposal of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE).
Romania, from the moment of accession to the European Union, by GD no. 448 of 2005 transposed the provisions of European Directive no. EC/96 of 2002.
The green stamp is collected by the merchant and periodically transferred to the organizations responsible for the WEEE recycling process. The value of the green stamp will be displayed separately for each product, it is paid individually and invoiced separately from the product price.
